Dimapur, Jan. 18 (EMN): A ten-day training seminar for senior citizens helpline was conducted by the Good Samaritan Women Society at Meriema in Kohima district from January 5 to the 16th.
It was held in collaboration with the state government and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment , a DIPR update informed.
The training was conducted by consultants of NHSC (National Helpline for Senior Citizens) and NISD (National Institute of Social Defence) Delhi.
The training concluded with a function held at the Old Age Home, Meriema. Medoselhou Keretsu (Secretary) and K Seyie (Treasurer) from the Senior
Citizens Association, Nagaland attended the function. The resource persons included Arjun Ganta, Kishore Kumar, Anand K M, Shanti Vemuri, Sunjib Rana, Viphreno Nakhro, Satahi Shijoh and Jyothi, it informed.
