Dimapur, Oct. 28 (EMN): Nagaland president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Temjen Imna Along has appealed to all the party men to work cohesively and remain steadfast in their vision to build a strong united front for the growth and progress of the party in the state.
Along stated this while addressing the members of Kiphire district BJP morcha and the 60-Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency mandals during a meeting held at Kiphire town on October 28. Along was in Kiphire district to campaign for its party candidate to the ensuing bye-election scheduled on November 3.
Along encouraged the party men to work tirelessly and selflessly in order to ensure victory of the PDA consensus candidate Lirimong Sangtam, who is also the official BJP ticket holder.
He also expressed gratitude to all the ministerial team led by the deputy chief minister, Y Patton, who is also the in-charge for bye- election to the 60-Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency. He asserted that their presence has created a huge impact of political waves and sent ripples across all the nooks and corners in the district as never seen before.
The meeting was attended by SOBs and other officials.
