Kohima Congress youth installs new officials

Kohima, Sep. 22 (EMN): Kohima District Youth Congress (KDYC) has installed new office bearers as per the constitution of India Youth Congress (IYC) held at NPCC hall, Kohima, on September 22.
Speaking at the installation programme, president of the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Organisation (NPYC) Vilhousielie Kengurűse expressed hope that the new team would bring about positive changes to the state. He also challenged the new officials to remain strong to uphold their rights.
Also speaking on the occasion, the outgoing DYCK president, Seyievilie Sachű, congratulated the new team and expressed hope that they would work hard and take the party to a higher level.
President of the Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC), Kevi Vizo, informed that more than 600 new members recently joined the party and hoped that the play would play a major role to bring about changes in the Naga society.
The new team of Kohima District Youth Congress would be led by Michael Megohesie as the president; Kevilhoutuo Rutsa, Vikehiekho Sieleyie, Kevinguzo Kera, Jessi Kez as vice presidents, Vizovoto, Angulie, Paazu Rosu, Akhulo Kath as general secretaries; Kevizono Kere, Nichenlo Mesen, Akok Longchar, Ato, T Lanpon, Nzanbemo Ngullie, Welelhi Tsuha, Thegolhuvi Sirie, Thejazietuo Napratsu, Poubichung Gangmei and Avono as secretaries.
Meanwhile, the new president Megohesie has appealed to the new members to extend co-operation and work together for a common good of the society.
