DIMAPUR — Runway The Banana Community (TBCom) held a workshop on banana fibre in Medziphema on July 25, facilitated through a partnership with Coffelady and Ginger Nova.
According to an update, the session aimed to educate participants on the sustainable benefits and practical applications of banana fibre. It covered the entire production process, from harvesting to processing and product creation.
It was mentioned that attendees had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities with various products and learn about the potential of banana fibre in multiple applications, including textiles and eco-friendly products.
