Women Enterpreneurs Network Nagaland holds financial literacy training
DIMAPUR — The Women Enterpreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) organised financial literacy training in collaboration with the district administration and the State Bank of India, Phek, as knowledge and technical partner.
The training programme was held in Phek on September 11 with Deputy Manager of SBI, Phek, Zhapuvi Savino, and Associate, SBI, Phek, Nukshimeren as resource persons, according to an update from WENN.
The event stressed on empowering WENN members through networking, collaboration, capacity-building and advocacy within an entrepreneurial ecosystem conducive to women entrepreneurs.
The resource persons focused on imparting financial literacy training to help participants acquire comprehensive financial knowledge, which is essential for entrepreneurs.
As many as 63 people, including leaders of Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA), NSRLM, DHEW (District Hub for Empowering of Women) Phek, self-help groups (SHGs) and church organisations participated in the training programme.
