DIMAPUR — The Ao Women Folk Married to Lotha Association (ALKAT) celebrated its silver jubilee on November 11 at Likya Community Hall in Wokha town.

The theme speaker for the celebration was Rev. Ngangnen Longkumer, pastor of WTABC, who reminded the gathering that ALKAT faced many challenges and hurdles during its formation but also received many blessings.

Longkumer urged the gathering to reflect on their accomplishments over the past 25 years, describing the achievements as blessings, and spoke on the theme ‘Brighten the light where you are’.

He said that one needs to understand that there is darkness in the place where people live, and it’s their responsibility to brighten that darkness through the Holy Spirit.

He added that in this generation, both old and young people are still in the dark, engaging in toxic substances, satanic worship, and adultery, thinking that they are enjoying their lives without realising they are living in darkness.

Rev. Abemo Jungio, pastor of WTBC, launched and offered the dedicatory prayer for the jubilee souvenir during the programme.
