Wangkhao College inaugurates mini library in Chi village

DIMAPUR — The literary committee of Wangkhao College in Mon initiated a humble step towards fostering reading habits among learners of all ages by inaugurating a mini library in Chi village as part of the college extension work.

An update from the college stated that the initiative was spearheaded by the literary committee with assistance received from Art and Culture department, Mon, and PHED, Mon, and well-wishers.

The committee expressed hope that the small spark would one day turn into a movement of reading among many.

A dedicatory prayer was said by pastor of Chi village, while the college principal, Dr. T Chandrasekharan, attended the programme as the special guest. Dr. Chandrasekharan urged the residents of Chi village to encourage reading among school going children.
