Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): Rev. Leopoldo Girelli, Apostolic Nuncio to India and Nepal (Vatican Ambassador), is scheduled to visit Nagaland from March 26 to the 29th to attend the first convocation of St. Joseph University.
He is expected to arrive on March 26 in Dimapur and proceed to Kohima. In Kohima, he would be the main celebrant for the Holy Eucharist at the Cathedral on March 27 at 10 am, an update from Kohima diocese stated. He would also visit some places in and around Kohima such as the World War II Cemetery, Kisama Heritage Village, and address the students of St. Joseph College (Autonomous) Jakhama and also interact with Catholic leaders.
On March 28, he would attend the first convocation of St. Joseph University in Ikishe Model village, Chümoukedima, along with other public leaders and university officials and deliver the presidential address.
He would also bless the Newman Pastoral Centre at St. Joseph Parish Campus, Chümoukedima, and also address the students of Good Shepherd Seminary and Salesian College, Dimapur, and meet Catholic leaders at Holy Cross Parish, Dimapur.
On March 29, he would be the main celebrant at the Holy Eucharistic celebration at the newly built Mt. Carmel Church in Chekiye village.
