Ura Academy to organise 54th Tenyidie annual seminar

KOHIMA — Ura Academy (UA) will organised the 54th Tenyidie annual seminar on May 30 and 31 at Ura Academy Hall in Mission Compound in Kohima on the theme ‘Language our identity.’

A press release issued by the organisers informed that the inaugural session will take place on May 30 at 9:30 am with members of Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) as guests of honour and Dr. Visier Sanyü as the speaker.

The inaugural session will be marked by lightning of the Ura Academy lamp and also presentation of Ura Academy meritorious awards for Tenyidie subject/ studies and music.

It will be followed by Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conclave where Vizonyü Liezietsu will address the programme. Competitions on solo, story writing, essay writing and poetry writing would also be conducted in the afternoon among high school and higher secondary school students.

On May 31, Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo seminar will be held with Dr. Medongulie Tsiekhanuo as the speaker. It will be followed with research paper presentation session by Tenyidie department of Nagaland University.

At valedictory function, members of Angami Public Organization (APO) will be the guests of honour, while Rev. Kiezotuo Zhale will be the speaker and Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu will deliver the presidential address.

The organisers have requested the Tenyidie well-wishers, elders, teachers, church leaders, student bodies and organisations to attend the programme.
