Uprooted tree snaps power lines at Covid-19 hospital Dimapur

Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): A huge eucalyptus tree uprooted and fell down between Medical Superintendent Dimapur quarters (MS) and generator house at around 3 pm on Saturday, damaging external power lines and electric post connecting Covid-19 hospital in Dimapur.

According to a DIPR report, on receiving information from the MS office, the Power department and district administration immediately deployed personnel for restoration.

The electrical department led by sub-divisional officer and engineer is working on a war footing with more than 20 workers, it informed.

The department officials assured that the power lines will be restored, stating that they are working with emergency extra manpower.
