KOHIMA — The Chakhesang Christian Revival Church Children’s Association (CCRCCA) organised a one-day open penalty shootout at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, on Saturday with United Brothers FC, Dimapur, claiming the champion title, while Hillside FC, Kohima, finished as the runners-up.

The tournament was attended by Basuyi Khesoh, who emphasised sportsmanship, camaraderie, and healthy competition, according to an update.

In his speech, CCRCCA president Makrove Lohe stated that the association had initiated this tournament not only to foster a healthy competitive spirit but also to bring children and youth closer to God, teaching them valuable life lessons about discipline, perseverance, and fair play.

Lohe added that the association believes engaging in such activities would help children and youth develop a stronger connection with their faith and with each other.
