UFO sightings: Strange bright object flying in circles baffles onlookers in Manipur

The mysterious light was spotted hovering in the night sky

Dimapur, Sep. 21 (EMN): In what could incite the interest of UFO (unidentified flying object) enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists, a strange bright object (light) was spotted flying in Manipur on the night of September 18.

The mysterious light was spotted hovering in the night sky by the locals in Imphal West periphery along the national highway in Manipur, according to North East Live, a 24-hour satellite news channel.

It added that the bright light, which was captured on camera, appeared to be flying in circles, making the onlookers believe it to be a UFO.  

However, it may be mentioned that a similar object was spotted in Manipur about four years ago but the government later stated that the people could have mistaken lights emitted by aircrafts during its activities for a UFO.

It may also be recalled that in 2015, a strange transparent circular object was caught hovering over Mantripukhri in Manipur’s capital city Imphal by some students. It wasn’t known if the object, which was captured on camera, above the residential buildings was a lenticular cloud or a morphed photo or other natural phenomenon.

Lenticular clouds are stationary lens-shaped clouds formed when humid air passes cooler regions and masses, including hills, mountainous and even buildings.
