Kohima, April 12 (EMN): Two persons were killed and three seriously injured in a tragic accident at Kohima on April 12.
The accident took place at around 2.20 pm when a red-coloured Bolero went out of track and fell below the highway near Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima.

Police sources said the Bolero, which was returning from Tseminyu after attending a wedding, fell around 70-80 ft deep.

The two deceased, both male, have been identified as Nyiyalo Kath, 45 years and 17 year-old Meto Kath. They both were reported to have died on the spot of accident.

All the deceased, and the injured, people hails from Tesophenyu village under Tseminyu sub-division, it was informed.

The injured persons, all female, have been identified as Rosenle Kath (56), Singale (55) and Keteni (29). Police sources further said that they have been admitted at ICU in Naga Hospital and are reported to be in critical condition.

The exact cause of the accident could not be ascertained as the driver, who happens to be a female, was not in a condition to talk at the time of filing this report.
