Dimapur, Nov. 17 (EMN): The Tuensang district level centre for women- Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao celebrated Children’s Day with the children of Kohdi Children Home at NAP Tuensang.
An update from MSK stated that the proprietor of the Home, Khumriliba Sangtam expressed gratitude to BBBP Tuensang for celebrating the day with them. Currently Kohdi Children Home has 20 young boys and girls from in and around Tuensang district.
In her speech, the women welfare officer Songmao M has encouraged the children on the importance of hard work and education.
Saotola Chang, ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, has also encouraged the children to never give up on their dreams.
