DIMAPUR — The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) will be organising its freshers’ meet-cum-cultural event on August 26 at Bundrock hall, Patkai Christian College, at 10 am on the theme ‘preserving and enhancing culture through education.’
In a press release, the union informed that Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, former chief minister and president of Ura Academy, would attend the academic session, while Losü Dikho, former minister and MLA of 48-Mao A/C would attend the cultural session.
TSUD has invited all the students, elders, and well-wishers to the programme.
The union also informed the delegates that transportation would be provided and asked all delegates to arrive at the pickup points by 8:30 am.
The pick-up points are at Dimapur Government College, DC Court Junction, Clock Tower, Half Nagarajan, Padampukhuri Junction, and Toulazouma Gate. For delegates from Chümoukedima areas, the bus would start at 9 am from the 1st Gate.
