Nagaland: Tseminyu DPDB meeting discusses key developmental issues
DIMAPUR — The monthly Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on July 13 at Tesophenyu Community Hall.
The meeting which was chaired by Jwenga Seb, MLA, and chairman of DPDB Tseminyu, focused on key development issues and recommendations for the district, an official report stated.
During the meeting, the members reviewed the minutes from the previous meeting, put forward several recommendations to the government including creation of a veterinary health centre at Tesophenyu, upgrade of the primary health centre (PHC) at Tesophenyu to a community health centre (CHC), establishment of a health sub-center at New Tesophenyu village, upgrade of the road from Nsunyu village to Gukhanyu village under the PradhanMantri Gram SadakYojana (PMGSY), and furnishing of the DPDB hall.
The administration also granted a no objection certificate for the construction of Superintendent of Police (SP) office at the present 4th NAP Camp in Tseminyu. The members further recommended that the Tseminyu district should be officially recognised as economically backward.
