Trinity Club Kiruphema retains Frolic volleyball trophy

DIMAPUR — Defending champions Trinity Club Kiruphema lifted the second edition of Frolic Club Volleyball Tournament in Medziphema by beating Blind Spiker Dimapur in straight sets 25-20 and 25-20.

A press release informed that 11 teams had participated in the competition. The biennial tournament was organised by Frolic Club, Medziphema from November 7 to 8. The winning team and the runners-up received cash awards and certificate, along with individual prizes: Best Spiker-Hinovi Kiba of Blind Spikers; Best Setter-Menoselie Hojha of Trinity Club; and Best Player-Kethovikho Zenyü-u of Trinity Club

P James Swu, ADC of Medziphema, graced the opening as the special guest. The final was graced by Councillor Kelenguno Zumu.
