Treasury office notifies pensioners for physical verification

DIMAPUR — Office of the senior treasury officer has notified all the pensioners drawing pension from Kohima north treasury that as per CTR 368 the annual physical verification would be conducted for the current year 2023.

The senior treasury office, Limatemsu, informed that physical verification for family pensioners and life pensioners would be conducted from September 11 the 16 from 9:30 am onwards.

All the concerned pensioners are advised to check their book serial numbers and come for verification on the allotted dates. Those pensioners who are unable to come for the physical verification due to bed-ridden illnesses should submit their home addresses with contact numbers, whereby an officer would be sent to verify.

It informed that there would be no further extension for physical verification beyond the dates mentioned above and added that no pension payment would be made for all physically unverified pensioners from the month of September 2023.

It further informed the pensioners to bring PPO books, duly attested life certificates and ID cards issued by the pensioners’ association during the physical verification. Furthermore, life certificates could be collected from the pension section with effect from August 21.
