DIMAPUR — The CMO office, Phek, held a training session for various vertical programmes and healthcare workers under Phek sadar block on the revised format of the health management information system (HMIS) at CMO conference hall, Phek, on October 13.
According to a press release, HMIS is one of the key reporting systems for all of the health facilities, block facilities, and various vertical programmes that reflect the district’s health status.
On the occasion, Sedeu Rupreo, district programme manager (DPM), National Health Mission, and Chibenthung Kithan, block programme manager (BPM), Phek sadar, reviewed existing reports and provided hands-on training to the participants.
It may be mentioned that every month, various components and key performance indicators such as reproductive and child health (RCH), deliveries, postnatal care (PNC), Anaemia Mukt Bharat, and so on are reported in the HMIS portal.
To improve reporting quality, all reports need to be validated before being submitted to the block and district.
