‘Tracing My Roots: Kigwema and Beyond’ released at Kigwema
Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): A book ‘Tracing My Roots: Kigwema and Beyond’ authored by Dr. Akho Yhokha was released on May 18 at Puhokhwel Sakhrie Hall, JBCC Complex Kipfüzha in Kigwema village.
The book was released by Dr. Easterine Kire, an update stated.
It said that Dr. Kire described the book as a strong statement of faith.
“Among Angamis, Kigwema is often considered the mother of all our villages. The start of something often starts from Kigwema. While the writer calls it ‘Tracing my roots’, we are including ourselves. The rest of us feel included. And we feel that we are also tracing our roots,” she said.
“As a reader, I believe this is a very important book. Because it proves that Nagas have a concrete origin and concrete past. That, that somewhere is a definite place,” Dr. Kire added.
The opening remark was shared by Dr. Visakhonü Hibo, while Rev. Mekhale Yhoshü said the dedicatory prayer and the closing remark and prayer was delivered by Dr. Dietho-o Yhoshü.
