KOHIMA — Former Commissioner and Secretary of Rural Development, Neposo Theluo, was sworn in as a member of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) on Thursday.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the conference hall of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, with Chief Secretary J Alam administering the oath of secrecy in the presence of Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, the chairman, and other members of the commission.
Theluo, who joined government service in the year 1986 as an inspector in the Vigilance and Anti-corruption department, served in several capacities including deputy commissioner of Phek and commissioner and secretary, before his retirement in September 2023. He was conferred the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2020.
