(His Mercy Endureth Forever)
Walking along the lonely, dreary road;
Alien from the path you once trod;
Leaving behind the good guide;
Lured away to the dark side.

Knowing not where the road leads;
Ignorant of the sign that reads-
“Destination Hell” for souls
For whom the Bell tolls.
~
All the while the adversary smiles,
As you cover the cursed miles.
Till you discover it’s too late
To escape your ugly fate.
~
But God does keep watch and cry
Over your soul that’s gone dry.
For His mercy angels plead-
Seeking for Grace to lead.
~
Saints too, make their plea & pray,
For you to find back your way
Into the path o’ truth & light-
To dying soul’s delight!
~
Tear-filled prayers move the Lord,
And in His grace and His Word,
He stretches forth His Hand
Ere you turn the final bend.
~
Halted from your Journey to Hell,
You’d return with a Story to tell,
If only you’d give your hand
To God o’ beginning & end.
~
His love ends & vexes evil plans
Puts to nought dark designs
He is, for spirit grooming,
God of new beginnings!
