DIMAPUR — The Combat Academy Dimapur organised a Spar Wars Muay Thai on Saturday at the academy in Sovima village, Chümoukedima, featuring 46 athletes competing in 23 bouts.

Spar Wars Muay Thai features sparring sessions in the sport of Muay Thai, which is a traditional martial art from Thailand.

These events typically focus on sparring rather than full-contact matches, allowing participants to practice techniques, improve their skills, and gain experience in a controlled environment.

He mentioned that the participants were from across Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra, but the majority are from Nagaland. He also mentioned that they partnered with the All Nagaland Muay Thai Association for the event.
