DIMAPUR — Thanksgiving programmes for CL John, Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change and Village Guards were held at Chenmoho and Chen-Wetnyu villages on April 8 and 9th respectively.
CL John thanked the NDPP party veterans and leaders led by Chingwang Konyak, President, NDPP, Nagaland, for trusting him with the party ticket. He further expressed gratitude to Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister, for inducting him in the Cabinet.
He also expressed gratitude to all his supporters, electorates and rank and file of NDPP party 45 Tehok Assembly Constituency, for reposing faith in his leadership by electing him for four consecutive terms and Nagas in general, an update stated.
He further thanked all the well-wishers, near and dear ones and church workers for their relentless prayer support.
He further appealed to all the citizens and electorates of 45 Tehok A/C to forgive each other, if anybody is hurt by the election and political propaganda throughout the recently concluded election process.
The minister also urged all to work hand-in-hand for constant development and peaceful coexistence in the constituency, to uphold the Christian ethics and democracy. He assured to deliver justice and to work with utmost sincerity and dedication for the welfare of the people, it added.
