Kohima, July 24 (EMN): General Secretary of National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah), Thuingaleng Muivah has been admitted to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) in Dimapur for observation after he came to the facility for a check up on Saturday.
“He was not keeping well and was brought here at CIHSR on July 24 for a check up. Since he was a little weak, we advised admission under observation,” a doctor from the hospital informed Eastern Mirror.
The doctor added that the general secretary was “absolutely fine”, “stable” and was “quite well”.
Meanwhile, reliable sources from the NSCN (IM) informed this newspaper that it was a “normal” check up and he was doing “okay”. The source added that ‘there is not much to panic about his admission to the hospital’.
An update from MIP of the group stated that “health conditions of Ato Kilonser Th Muivah is stable now as per doctors monitoring his health. His oxygen level is also stable at 96% and stabilised. He has history of throat irritation and is being taken care of”.
“To be on safer side he is undergoing medical tests like blood test and CT scan. He is on constant observation by specialist doctors. Our Health Kilonser is also on the spot monitoring the development and the treatment being given,” it added.
‘Please stay calm and avoid going for wild speculation and uploading in social media. Your prayers are more important than anything else at this juncture. NSCN is grateful to the doctors and staff of CIHSR for their special care being rendered for speedy recovery of Ato Kilonser,’ it continued.
