DIMAPUR — The Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD) held its 49th general session on Thursday at CPO Hall in Chümoukedima with Nibu Naga, a businessman, as the guest of honour.

Speaking at the programme, Nagi encouraged the youth to explore new avenues like business and venture abroad for jobs instead of depending on the government jobs, which has a narrow scope.

Sharing his experience as a businessman, Nagi said “Honesty is the basis of a successful business. Many fails in business because of dishonesty in business.”

He also lamented the Nagas’ love for quick money during elections and urged the congregation to opt for development instead.

Meanwhile, TUD also acknowledged the presidents of all the units/ hohos and office bearers by presenting a certificate of appreciation.

The programme was chaired by Visimeto Nagi and Incale Iswarang, while an invocation prayer was said by Rev. Khisenlo Apon, pastor of RBC, Chümoukedima, and presidential address by delivered by Vekhosayi Nyekha.

Songs were presented by Chakro Angami Kuda Union, Kekhrowate-u Wetsah and Western Chakhesang Union.
