Ten bogies of Ernakulam-Duronto Express derail in Goa

No injuries reported; trains diverted via Karwar and Londa
Ten coaches of LTT-Ernakulam Duronto Express (Train No. 12223) derailed at Salzora tunnel near Balli in south Goa on Sunday morning disrupting traffic on Konkan Railway route.The track will be cleared by evening, a spokesperson of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited told The Hindu.
Konkan Railway has made arrangements of breakfast, tea, coffee, lunch and drinking water for passengers of the train.
Passengers of the affected train are being shifted to the unaffected coaches of the same train, through DMU, and buses have also been arranged to shift passengers.
The passengers of Duronto Express will be taken ahead to their destination through a special train. Full refund is being arranged by Konkan Railway for those passengers of Duronto Express who wish not to continue their journey.
Work is on in full swing at the site for immediate relief and restoration.

Train No. 22635 Madgaon-Mangaluru Central Intercity Express;
Train No. 10215 Madgaon-Ernakumal Junction Express;
Train No. 56641 Madgaon-Mangaluru Central Passenger and;
Train No. 12224 Ernakulam Junction-LTT Express.
Partially cancelled trains
Train No. 56640 Mangaluru Central-Madgaon passenger is cancelled between Karwar and Madgaon and it would be terminated at Karwar;
12133 Mumbai CSTM-Mangaluru Junction Express that left Mumbai on Saturday is cancelled between Madgaon and Mangaluru Junction;
Train No. 12134 Mangaluru Junction-Mumbai CSTM Express leaving Mangaluru Junction on Sunday afternoon is cancelled between Mangaluru Junction and Madgaon.
Diversion
Train No. 16337 Okha-Ernakulam Junction biweekly Express of Saturday;
Train No. 02065 Mumbai CSTM-Ernakulam Junction Premium Special of Sunday;
Train No. 22634 Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express of Friday;
Train No. 11097 Pune-Ernakulam Junction Poorna Express and;
Train No. 16312 Kochuveli-Bikaner Junction Express of Saturday are being diverted via Madgaon, Londa, Hubballi, Hassan and Mangaluru Junction.
Rescheduled
Train No. 12620 Mangaluru Central-Mumbai LTT Matsyagandha Express scheduled to leave Mangaluru at 2.35 pm on Sunday is rescheduled to leave at 4.35 pm on the same day.
