TBC organises Annual Youth Coffee House

Town Baptist Church (TBC) Dimapur youth department today organised its annual Youth Coffee House at its church with ‘The Gluttones’ as the lead worship team.
TBC has been actively organising the annual coffee house in their church for more than 10 years with a vision to bring all the youths from different corners of the city to come together and have a complete 2 hours of music, worship and praising God.
While interacting with the youth director of TBC Dimapur, Nividi Kevic, told Eastern Mirror that with this simple programme they want to aspire the youths to pursue their dreams with faith and prayer be it in the field of music, designing or business and be the best. She added that it also opens a good platform for the local artists who are trying to make career in music as they get an opportunity to expose their talents.
Despite receiving criticism on some occasions for playing secular music during the session she added dealing with young people and to attract them is quite challenging so they sometimes play songs like ‘Fix You’ from Cold Play or ‘Where Is The Love’ from The Black Eye Peas which seem to have a good impact assuring that they do have worship session.
And most interestingly this coffee house not only brings music bands and preachers all the time but also invites persons who have earned respect in the society in different platforms to come and encourage the youths by giving career guidance or in business.
