Talikaba Longkumer declared Mister Mokokchung

Mokokchung, Nov. 21 (EMN): In a mesmerising show at Mokokchung town, 23-year-old Talikaba Longkumer was declared the first  Mister Mokokchung on Saturday.

Answering the question — ‘Is social media bringing people together or causing separation’ — at the top five final round, Longkumer replied, ‘I think social media is bringing people together during this pandemic. Though we have suffered, social media has helped the students keep in touch with their education’.  

Longkumer who also won the sub-title of Mr. Perfect 10 was accompanied by Tinuwati and Moanukshi Lemtur as first and second runners-up respectively.

The winner walked away with a cash prize of INR 30000 and first and second runners-up received a cash reward of INR 20000 and INR 10000 respectively besides gift hampers.  It was also announced that the winner of Mister Mokokchung 2021 will be the brand Ambassador of “Green Mokokchung.”

Along with the winners the following subtitles were also awarded — Mr. Perfect Physique to Topeka, Mr. Congeniality to Tinuwati, Mr. Runway and Photogenic to Imnaakum, Mr. People’s Choice  to Mezaba Kichu,  Mr. Talent to Tiamaong and Mr. Personality to Krishna Kumar.

A total of 14 contestants took part in the contest, consisting of different rounds, wherein the district Planning officer of Mokokchung, Imlikokba Longkumer attended the event as the special guest. Nocketla, Agriculture officer, also attended it as the chief patron.

The show also witnessed a number of performances from renowned singers, musicians and models.  The pageant was organised by Vertex Entertainment Inc. (Our Correspondent)
