Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN): Several taekwondo players of Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy on November 4 achieved new belts after completing their respective course at its headquarters in Immanuel Hall, Y Zhimo colony, Dimapur.
An update from Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy informed that a total of 39 players achieved new belts and grading was conducted by Master Deep Kumar, Black Belt 5th Dan, International Instructor and Examiner under the curriculum of Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters, South Korea.
Out of 39 players, 16 players who qualified black belt and higher Dans are: Imnatoshi Longkumer (black belt 3rd Dan), Liike Kibami, Nasher Uddin Choudhury, Ritodeep Bhattacharjee, Hridhinandan Bhattacharjee (black belt 2nd Dan), and Kitenlo K Thono, Tinumeren, Dipraj Paswan, Poonish Chhetri, Nipavito Rengma, Ghahilo Kent, Ideulungle Cerai, Matika Jigdung, Hinokali, Sungjemmenla Pongen and Mercy A Konyak (black belt 1st Dan).
Players who qualified in colour belt section are: Zouzam Yala, Alono Awomi, Arpita Dey, Avikali V Sheqi, Vitope Sheqi, Nito Awomi, Kinayala Aier, Bautok Melvin, Hoichem Aimee, Litam Justin, Sadhna Prasad, Rupa Thapa, Echang W Magdalene, Matsung, Khushi Rai, Mehboob Ahmed, Zhimopu Zhimomi, Angukivi T Chishi, Taochiren Aier, Minton, Pulto A Chishi, Kuputo Zhimo and Puloka K Chishi.
Out of these players, four of them — Echang W Magdalene, Taochiren Aier, Angukivi T Chishi and Kuputo Zhimo — got hold of double promotion, the updated added.
