Dimapur, Dec. 27 (EMN): T Zisunyu Baptist Kehun celebrated 100 years of its church establishment on December 17 and 18 with Dr. Joshua Lorin, principal of Oriental Theological Seminary, and Rev. Dr. Kethozelhou Keyho, NBCC general secretary, as the speakers in the morning and evening sessions respectively of the opening day on the theme “He who began.”

An update from the church informed that Rev. Andrew Semp, secretary of Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM) and chairman of the organising committee, led in the jubilee hall inauguration service, while Rev. Senlo Kent consecrated the jubilee hall. It stated that Rev. Kent also pronounced the invocation prayer in the first session led by Gwanilo Khing, pastor of Rengma Baptist Church Sovima.

Elvis Khing, pastor of TZBK, welcomed the congregation, while Yhunthonglo Khing, president of CRBC, shared greetings and the jubilee choir and members from Sendenyu Baptist Church presented songs of praises.

On the occasion, Rev. L Tsela, coordinator of TZBK Missions, administered baptism to more than a dozen members in the afternoon. It was followed with praise and worship session which was participated by various singers/ artistes from different churches with Dr. Jochuhyulo Tsela as the speaker.

In the evening session, David Tsela chaired the programme, while Rev. Hinilo Tep, secretary of CRBC Missions, pronounced the offertory prayer and Kepega Tep, pastor of Rengmapani Baptist Church, read the scripture.

On the second day, Rev. Haiwalo Apon, executive secretary of CRBC, dedicated the jubilee monolith.

In the morning session, Elite Khing, secretary of CRBCWD, chaired the programme, while Rev. Esachor Jishing, executive secretary of WRBA, shared greetings and members from Kithaga Union Baptist Church, Kandi Lowjii and jubilee choir presented songs.

It stated that Rev. Asinlo Khing, director of Rengma Baptist Missions, Himalayas, administered the Lord’s Supper, while Rev. Andrew Semp delivered the message on the theme “He who began.”

In the last session, Sogwalo Semp and team led the praise and worship, while Ahyulo Tep, chairman of Nagaland Prayer Centre, pronounced the invocation prayer. Viliezhü Kent, chairman of TZBK deacon board, read the scripture and Rev. G Khing, director of Asia Soul Winners, spoke on “He who began: fulfillment.”
