DIMAPUR — The handing and taking-over programme of the new office bearers of Sümi Hoho was held on Friday at the Sümi Hoho Ki in Zunheboto town.
In a brief ceremony, the outgoing president, I Nikheto Jimomi, exhorted the new team and expressed his full confidence in their capabilities. He praised their dedication and readiness to lead the organisation forward, an update from the Hoho stated.
Meanwhile, the incoming president, Dr. Vihuto Asumi, expressed his gratitude to the nomination committee and elders for entrusting him with the responsibility to lead the organisation. He has assured to carry on the legacy of good works initiated by his predecessors, committing to lead the Sümi Hoho with dedication and steadfastness in its various endeavours.
The ceremony was solemnised with a prayer said by Ghunato Sümi, associate pastor of Sümi Baptist Church, Zunheboto, who prayed for both the outgoing and incoming teams.
Report further stated that the Sümi Hoho looked forward to a new chapter of leadership under Dr. Vihuto Asumi, building on the strong foundations laid by former leaders.
