Dimapur, July 23 (EMN): In continuation of the campaign and in celebration of its 10th North East Regional Dental Conference, which is scheduled on November 29 and 30, 2017, Nagaland State Branch of Indian Dental Association (IDA) conducted a free oral and dental health awareness camp on July 22 at Longthonger village under Kiphire district.
The awareness was part of the IDA nationwide initiatives to focus on rural oral health.
Dr. Wekhrou Mero, Dental Surgeon, District Hospital Kiphire; Dr. Vekulhu Tetseo, Dental Surgeon, CHC Pungro, in coordination with Dr. A Amos Sangtam, MO SHP Kiphire; assisted by SHP Nurse, medical attendants conducted the camp.
During the dental camp, check up and dental treatment such as dental extractions etc. were done. Free oral hygiene kit and medicines are also given away. This was stated in a press release issued by Dr. Pfukrolo Koza, president of IDA, Nagaland State Branch.
