State has more than 12K Self Help Groups with 1.10 lakh members

Dimapur, Feb. 2 (EMN): Nagaland has a total of 12,435 Self Help Groups (SHGs) with 1,10,184 members but only 11,377 have received revolutionary funds as on January 31, 2022, according to data on CM’s dashboard.

Nagaland also has a total of 1,051 village organisations (VOs) and 39 cluster-level federations (CLFs) as per the data.

District-wise distribution shows that Dimapur has 1,335 SHGs with 12,394 members; Kohima 1,081 SHGs and 9,049 members; Mokokchung 1,163 SHGs and 9,526 members; Mon 1,984 SHGs and 18,890 members; Phek 1,619 SHGs and 14,550 members; and Tuensang 1,559 SHGs and 14,126 members.

It went on to show that Wokha has 755 SHGs with 6,246 members; Zunheboto 1,112 SHGs and 9,474 members; Peren 760 SHGs and 6,955 members; Kiphire 709 SHGs and 5,822 members; and Longleng 358 SHGs and 3,152 members.

Meanwhile, the data also revealed that 1,309 SHGs in Dimapur district have received revolutionary funds, the highest among the districts in the state.
