Dimapur, May 18 (EMN): A special train ferrying almost 1500 Nagaland citizens stranded in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is expected to arrive in Dimapur on May 22.
According to a DIPR report, Y Kikheto Sema, the bureaucrat in charge of Covid-19 activities in Dimapur district, the train carrying 1464 stranded persons would depart Chennai on the evening of May 19.
It also reported that following an appeal from the government to the churches, the executive committee of Kuda Village Baptist Church (KVBC) has resolved to house all the asymptomatic Angamis from Kuda Village, Nagarjan jurisdiction, returning from outside the state, at its guesthouse within the church premises.
