Dimapur, October 20: Special Olympics Nagaland (SON) has conducted district games for persons with disabilities at Mokokchung on October 20. According to a press release, it stated that more than 100 special athletes have participated in the events of athletics, bocce, shotput, softball throw, unified football, race and rally. Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel was the chief guest on the certification ceremony. Zunheboto district games for disabled will be conducted on October 22 at Indoor Stadium Zunheboto. All the participants and families have been requested to come at the venue by 9am.
