Schools felicitate meritorious HSCL, HSSLC students

MGOS church: MGOS Church, Midland, and St. Thomas Mission Society felicitated MGMHSS rank holders and school toppers in the church premises on May 14.
Fr. PS Varghese, Vicar and Principal of MGM School, welcomed the guests, while the felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. Manoj Prabhakar, HOD, Department of Management, Nagaland University; Reji Abraham, principal of SD Jain Higher Secondary School; VA Jose, president of Kerala Samajam etc.
MGOS churchMs Suhana Begum, 4th rank holder, was felicitated with cash award and memento, while toppers of higher secondary Science and Arts streams were also felicitated with cash prizes and mementos.
Principal informed that the Society will provide free education to all the toppers for the coming two years. Altogether Rs 48,000 was distributed as cash award from the Society.
Those who have completed higher secondary (Arts) will be continuing their further studies at MGM college under the same Society. Secretary Shobin Philip proposed the vote of thanks to all the guests.

Charity School: Charity School, Kohima, felicitated Ahmed Rayza Muhaimin for securing 100 in Mathematics in HSLC examination Charity Schoolconducted by NBSE. The programme was graced by Mrs. Rokuoheü, member of the school managing board.
Rokuoheü, who is also the president of the Angami Women Organisation, lauded teachers and Rayza for taking Charity School to a higher level. She handed over the certificate to the awardee along with cash on behalf of the school.
“Thought he missed the top 20 slots just by 1 mark, he is a topper to us,” said Kushilto Rolnu, Headmaster in his speech. He urged the students to follow the footsteps of Ahmed, who also obtained distinction in all the subjects.
The programme was chaired by Candy, while a special number was presented by Boho.

KVSU: Kohima Village Students’ Union (KVSU) felicitated students who have recently cleared the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2017 at Kohima village council hall on May 12.
Exhorting the students on the occasion, Dr. Neiphi Kire, chairman of Kohima village council, congratulated the students on their success and stressed on the role they have to embark on to build a better future for the coming generations.
The “Achievers message” was conveyed by Visienuo Dzüvichü (HSLC 19 topper) and Nilakienyü Liezietsü (HSSLC Arts 8 topper). Mengutseinuo Kire was also felicitated on being conferred the Gold Medal in Sociology from Lovely Professional University.
Meanwhile, Thejakhrietuo, KVSU education & statistical secretary, in his report informed that a total of 244 HSLC students and 166 HSSLC students from the village have cleared the board exams this year.
The programme was chaired by Khrietuo Pienyü, president KVSU, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Keneingunuo Keretsü, KVSU general secretary.

CornCornerstone school 1erstone School: Cornerstone Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, felicitated meritorious HSLC and HSSLC students of the school on May 12.
Ms Sentisangla Imsong, school principal, exhorted the successful candidates to work harder in their future endeavours and strive for excellence. She also stressed on the importance to have hope and aspiration in their endeavour on the path to success.
Nokramechi, Class XII (Com) student and topper, thanked the teachers and faculty for the immense support provided. Dr. Sashimeren Aier, school chairman, congratulated all the students for the success and bringing glory and laurels to the school.
The meritorious students were felicitated and honoured with merit certificate and cash award.
The programme ended by singing the school anthem and distribution of sweets to all the students in the school.
