SBI temporary driver missing in West Karbi Anglong

Diphu, Oct. 27 (EMN): One person identified as Prodip Ronghang from West Karbi Anglong has gone missing since Oct. 16 after travelling to Bihar with a cashier of State Bank of India (Hamren Branch).
Prodip Ronghang is from Puchimlankso Sarlongki Kro villager under Hamren Police Station, West Karbi Anglong.
Wife of Ronghang, Marry Teronpi told media persons that her husband was a temporary driver at State Bank of India (SBI), Hamren Branch in West Karbi Anglong.
She narrated, ‘on Oct. 16 Rahul Kumar Singh, a cashier at the State Bank of India (Hamren Branch) came to our home in the morning and told my husband to drive him to Bihar for an unofficial trip.’ She continued, ‘on Oct.19, I had multiple conversations with my husband in the morning and evening but at midnight he called me and said in a worried voice, I am feeling very hungry; come and pick me up from here, two people were behind me, and attempted to kill me, with this little conversation my husband phone was disconnected and till today he is traceless’.
Rahul Kumar Singh lives in Hajipur, Vaishali district of Bihar.
She has requested NGOs, social organisation leaders to find out about her missing husband.
An FIR has been lodged at Hamren Police station, West Karbi Anglong.
