Samagra Shiksha Nagaland directs all govt. schools to hold PMT on October 9

DIMAPUR — The Samagra Shiksha Nagaland (SSN) has issued an order to heads of all government schools in Nagaland with foundational stages, to organise a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) on October 9.

According to a DIPR report, the PMT is a part of the project for school heads under cycle-3 of the Nagaland Literacy and Numeracy Fest 2.0 and the mega event is to be organised on a single notified date in the state to draw community participation in education.

The primary goal of the initiative is to sensitise the parents on how parental involvement in the child’s education leads to better learning outcomes.

It is also aimed at sensitising the parents on the learning progress of their children and initiatives made by the state in the foundational stage.

“The state mission director has invited all parents and stakeholder to come forth with great participation to this mega initiative of the state to witness and celebrate their children’s learning progress,” it stated.
