DIMAPUR — Brig Arupendu Gupta from 3 Corps visited Sainik School Punglwa on Thursday and delivered a motivational lecture and also made a powerpoint presentation to 345 cadets of class IX to class XII.
An update from the school stated that the officer gave detailed guidance for preparation of services selection board through the lecture and interaction. The officer also emphasised on the importance of improvement in communication skills and personality development.
It stated that the lecture was well received by the cadets and expressed hope that it would go a long way in motivating them to join armed forces.
It mentioned that the officer had earlier served as the interviewing officer at the Bengaluru and Bhopal service selection board.
Earlier on his arrival, Brig Arupendu Gupta was received by the school principal, Group Captain RK Yadav, who also briefed about the activities at the school.
On completion of guest lecture, Captain RK Yadav delivered the vote of thanks and presented the school memento to the officer as a token of remembrance and gratitude.
