Revised rates for Nagaland Zoological Park announced

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Zoological Park at Rangapahar, Chümoukedima, has announced revised rates for tickets, camera fees and other services effective February 1, 2024.

As per a notification issued by T Aochuba, Director of the Nagaland Zoological Park, the entry ticket fee for children (5 to 12 years old) has been increased from INR 10 to INR 20. For adults (above 12 years), the rate has gone up from INR 20 to INR 40.

The camera fee for still cameras has been hiked from INR 30 to INR 50, while for professional cameras like SLRs and DSLRs, the fee has increased from INR 100 to INR 150. For video cameras, the rate has doubled from INR 100 to INR 200. The professional videography fee has gone up from INR 1,000 to INR 1,500.

There is no change in the vehicle parking rates. For two-wheelers and three-wheelers, the parking fee remains INR 10. For light and medium vehicles, it continues to be INR 20, while for heavy vehicles, it stays at INR 50.

The per-person rate for e-rickshaw rides has been raised from INR 30 to INR 50. The full booking rate has gone up from INR 150 to INR 180.

The umbrella hiring rate continues to be INR 20. However, bicycle hiring charges have doubled from INR 50 to INR 100 for half an hour.

The tour guide rates have also seen a steep hike. For up to 15 people, the rate has increased from INR 200 to INR 500. For more than 15 people, it has gone up from INR 400 to INR 750.
