Dimapur, March 13 (EMN): Referee Clinic organised by Recreation Club Ahthibung (RCA) concluded on Saturday.
The clinic, which began on March 10, was held in collaboration with department of Youth Resources and Sports (YR and S).
In an update, RCA expressed its appreciation to DDFRA for providing well- experienced resource persons for the three-day training programme.
‘Though the programme was just an introduction/ imparting basics sans certification, the trainees have expressed their gratitude to the RCA, and dept. of YR and S, GoN, for arranging such a platform and introducing official rules and laws concerning the game of football, which, in layman's word is the most simple game,’ it read.
It further stated that the trainees requested the concerned department through RCA to continue supporting them so that they could give their service to the community, as a trained/ certified referee in the future.
