The Election Commission of India has directed the chief electoral officer, Nagaland to conduct re-poll at four polling stations after taking all material circumstances into account.
Fresh poll will be held at 35 Zunheboto 9-New Colony S/W (528 voters); 39 Sanis 9-Pangti V (770 voters); 41 Tizit 7-Jaboka village (817 voters); and 57 Thonoknyu 3-Pathso East Wing (1133 voters).
The re-poll will be held today (March 1) from 7 am to 4 pm.
The ECI directed to ensure wide publicity by beating of drums or any other convenient mode in the polling stations areas. Meanwhile, it said scrutiny of Form 17-A of these polling stations would be done immediately after the poll on the same day.
