Raj Bhavan bids farewell to Commissioner and Secretary
Raj Bhavan, Kohima held a farewell programme at Ura Bhavan, Raj Bhavan on Monday for the outgoing Commissioner and Secretary to Governor, Mhabemo Yanthan, who has been transferred as the Commissioner, Nagaland.
Chairing the programme, Joint Secretary to Governor, Mhomo Tungoe thanked the Commissioner and Secretary for the service rendered and for the efforts put in to improve the functioning of the office.
Delivering a brief service record of the Commissioner & Secretary, Section officer Jochule mentioned that T Mhabemo Yanthan joined Raj Bhavan as Commissioner anf Secretary to Governor on September 2019, and served in that capacity till February 2023.
She also mentioned that during his tenure, he guided and supported the team during the most difficult and challenging times of the pandemic.
Incoming Commissioner and Secretary to Governor, Wezope Kenye, congratulated the outgoing officer on his new assignments, an update fromPRO Raj Bhavan stated.
He stated that this institute is all about teamwork, and requested the officers and staff to follow the same path of coordination, and assured to give his best for the interest of the public.
Delivering his farewell speech, Yanthan thanked the Almighty and the entire staff of the Raj Bhavan for the memorable tenure. He also mentioned that during his tenure, he came across various opportunities, challenges, situations, and different individuals, adding that it has been personally and professionally enriching. He also encouraged the officers to continue with the same spirit of teamwork in the future and further expressed confidence that under thenew officer, it will attain new heights.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Under Secretary, Kevingozo Visa; and short speeches were also delivered by ADC to Governor, Abhineet AK, PPS to Governor, Sureshkumar R P, JSO, Ngope and JSO, Avizo.
