Rainfall likely in Nagaland in next few days

DIMAPUR: Nagaland, Manipur and south Assam are likely to experience rainfall in many places on May 14, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

Nagaland is unlikely to experience any rainfall from May 11 to 13th; however, districts including Tuensang, Kiphire, Phek and Kohima are likely to experience thunderstorms and lightning on May 14.

Most Northeastern states are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall along with gusty wind on May 13 and 14, IMD said.

Tripura and Mizoram are also likely to experience rainfall at most places with heavy rainfall at isolated places on May 13, and heavy to very heavy rainfall on May 14.

Tripura, Mizoram and south Manipur will also likely experience squally wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph on May 14.
