PWD minister Tongpang Ozukum inaugurates community hall

Dimapur, Dec. 11 (EMN): Minister of PWD (Housing and Mechanical), Tongpang Ozukum, inaugurated the newly constructed community hall in Yaongyimti New Village in Mokokchung district on December 10.

The community hall, which was initiated under Iconic Project scheme, was the brainchild of Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio. The project was initiated during the PDA government where INR 2 crore was allotted for taking up important projects in all the sixty constituencies of the state, stated an update from the press secretary to the minister.

It mentioned that the minister had earmarked and contributed for the construction of community halls at Yaongyimti New village and Yaongyimti Old village. The community hall in Yaongyimti Old village under 24 Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency was inaugurated last month.

Minister was accompanied by EAC of Chuchuyimlang, members from Mongsenyimti village council along with officials from NDPP Mokokchung region and 24 Angetyongpang assembly constituency and many distinguished leaders from the area.
