Pungro training programme equips 100 with construction skills
DIMAPUR — A training programme underway at GB’s hall in Pungro Town concluded on October 31, benefiting 100 construction trainees with trainers from the Zynorique Initiative Society in Kohima.
According to an update from Public Forum Pungro Sub-Division, the programme was sponsored by the Skill Proficiency Management for Building and Other Construction Workers, Advanced Training of Trainers (ToT) second phase for 2023-2024.
The division, while expressing gratitude to the Nagaland government, led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, MLA and Advisor S Kiusumew, the Department of Labour, and the Zynorique Initiative Society for their support, stated that the 10-day training equipped the participants with essential skills.
Upon completion, the 100 trainees were awarded certificates, as well as tools and machinery to support their future endeavours.
