Kohima, Aug. 10 (EMN): A book titled ‘Jewel: A-Z victorious prayers for anyone, anytime, anywhere,’ written by Vevolu Bernice Tunyi was released at JMC Hall in Lerie, Kohima, by Rev. Dr. Wepre Mero, pastor of CBCMHK, on August 10. It was the second book written by Vevolu Bernice Tunyi.
A 25-year-old Vevolu Bernice Tunyi said that the book was filled with “bold prayers that honours God.”
Releasing the book, Rev. Dr. Wepre Mero congratulated Vevolu and urged the youth to indulge in the word of God and pray unceasingly in order to be successful.
During the event, Dr. Loso Chalia gave a brief introduction on the devotional book. He described the author as “a wonderfully gifted person” and praised her for her abundant biblical knowledge.
The chaplain of Kros College, Mimi Suohu, also conveyed a message on having a healthy relationship with God. She acknowledged Vevolu for her persistence and for never giving up on God and described the book as a doorway to connect personally with God besides stressing on the essence of prayer.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nusa Lohe presented a soliloquy on the occasion by enlightening the audience on the nature and qualities of a virtuous woman.
The event was chaired by Asani Victoria, while a song was performed by Krosu and friends.
The book is priced at INR 300 and it is available at various booklets in and around Kohima.
