[dropcap]F[/dropcap]rom time immemorial Nagas have never lived under any foreign dominion. Every Naga Village has its own democratic ways of life, where as for India Caste-System had been the roots of India’s life, and it will continue. All know well that from British Empire she got her independence. Though Nagas are not Indians by race, some few Nagas who still wanted to be the slave-man of India supporting the so called 16th point agreement and the article 371(A) of the constitution of India.
The different between Naga and Indian can well be understood from the fact; such as Religion, Culture, Tradition, Food and Diet, Physical appearance and Geographical etc.When the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland fought for complete withdrawal of the aggressor India from Nagaland some national workers of their own interest defected from NNC/FGN and started taking the life of our patriot and innocent Nagas for their own supremacy, power and wealth in the name of Naga sovereignty. These renegade group collaborated with adversaries weaken the progress of the Naga nation till today. These are all internal problems facing in Nagaland which need to be corrected. The mouth of the India money uncovered the shame and nakedness of the Nagas, more over Taboo was stepped under the foot of greeds. The Nagas should also understand and correct ourselves by the words of Ashwani Kumar former Governor of Nagaland Puppet state that “Nagas must solve its own problem” he said.
Till today few Nagas proudly shouted “We India, We India”. By proclaiming we India what profit he/she is getting when we are never India. How wonderful is the words coming from the Naga leader which are encouraging and forcing his own youth to sacrifice their life for another nation without any reason. The India got her Independence on 15th August 1947 and established her Republic Government on 26th January 1950. Many a times Nagas used to say and write Naga Political Movement though we are no more in the stage of Political movement rather we should understand that Nagas have already declared our Independence one day ahead of India on 14th August 1947 and established Federal Republic of Nagaland on22nd March I956. To cease the war between the two Nations an International Ceasefire agreement was brought between the two Governments i.e. Government of India and the Federal Government of Nagaland in the year 1964. We cannot make ourselves old nor young because history will reveal the past.
Was not it wonderful to see and know why some Nagas really want to become India when other foreign nations know us better that Nagas are not India and call us Naga. Can Almighty God be happy when we make our country India?. Is it the will of God that some Nagas become India? The answer is ‘NO’ God never created us to be in India but to be a distinct people and distinct Nation. God made us to dwell and live in a beautiful hillock covering with evergreen trees that we can be proud of.
The Naga National Council (NNC) is to save our people and its land from the forced occupation of India’s Armed forces but not to gain or profit nor for power. We know that India can no longer suppress our birth right because in his own time our visionary leader AZ. Phizo submitted necessary documents to the UN Office in the year 1960 8th October. So also the Nagas received acknowledgement letter from UN Office on 18th October 1965. Nagas have built our Nation on the rock and not on the sand. Less in number is not the matter if Nagas are on God side and He is on our side. For the Lord God Jehovah said “He is the host of God”. To be called Nagaland for Christ is so high and therefore let us live according to His plan as God has designed us to be a Nation.
To keep God giving land secured is depending on every Nagas that no evil may damage or destroy our beautiful land. In the midst of tense situation between India and Nagaland war, God revealed to Nagas through prophecy that Arms wi1l not be the Armour of Nagas but Holy Bible shall be the Armour of the Nagas to preach the gospel to the whole World. In the like manner in the year 1977 the Nagas have declared and promised to God to sent 10,000 missionaries which was reaffirmed in 1990 is a wondrous declaration. Nagaland is for Nagas only and therefore let us make our land to fulfill the purpose of His Plan to make Nagaland a missionary land.
