DMC asked to increase price of pork

DIMAPUR — Starting from Monday, pork meat will be back on sale at the DMC prescribed rate after a fortnight ban imposed by the Pork Butcher Union Dimapur (PBUD).

The union president, Shikato T Swu, informed Eastern Mirror that the ban imposed on April 24 would be lifted by Monday (May 8). The ban was necessitated following prohibition imposed by Assam government to transport live pigs from other state to Nagaland.
